UTD Golfer Takes Second Individually
at LeTourneau Invitational
Caroline Butler Finishes Just Four Strokes Off Lead

LONGVIEW, TX - The University of Texas at Dallas women's golf team got its best news of the season this weekend when Caroline Butler and teammate Farrah Shaikh both finished in the top four individually at the LeTourneau Invitational Tournament at Pinecrest Country Club.

Butler shot a round of 90, to finish just four strokes behind Dallas Baptist's Sara Sawyer, who was playing individually. Shaikh was just one stroke behind her at 91.

Other UTD golfers were Cat Fox (136), Joanna Ashcraft (152) and Justan Vanya (168). The Comets finished third as a team behind University of Texas-Tyler and LeTourneau.
