Comets' Year Ends :04 Away From Upset Win
BROWNWOOD, TX - The UTD men's basketball team left it all on the floor Friday night at the Brownwood Coliseum, leading ASC West Division No. 1 seed Howard Payne for all but the critical seconds in an ASC Championship Tournament quarterfinal game. UTD took a lead with :12 left, but gave up a desperation three-pointer that banked in and led HPU to a 74-70 victory, ending the Comets' season. STORY
