UTD Women Race Away With Another Meet Title With Five Top 15 Finishers
Chara Price's 5th Place Finish Sparks UTD Dominance

LONGVIEW, TX - Chara Price (pictured) took fifth place in a 32-runner field to lead five UTD runners to Top 15 finishes and a first-place team trophy at the LeTourneau University Invitiational Saturday.

Price ran a 26:36 time on the 6K course, and then got a boost from here teammates, who finished 8th, 9th, 12 and 14th in the women's division. UTD's 48 points was 14 points better than second-place Dallas Baptist; and put the Comets well ahead of the three other American Southwest Conference teams that competed.

Angelia Wightman (27:08) and Claire Burrows (27:14) finished 8th and 9th, respectively; while Angela Tracy (28:38) and Alyssa McMenamy (29:19) placed 12th and 14th.

In the men's division, UTD finished fourth out of five teams with Steven Richard leading the way with a 30:32, his best time of the season. The Comets had two other runners finish in the top 20 of the 45-runner field to put the team at 105 points, 72 points behind the division-winning Dallas Baptist team.

Jeremiah Masterson ran a 31:40 for 18th place; and Jonathan Greene went 31:54 to pick up the 20th spot.
