WHITE TIES RECORD WITH FOUR GOALS AS UTD MOVES INTO 2ND PLACE IN ASC RACE
Kevin White tied a school record with four goals in a single game Friday as UTD roared back in the second half to take a 6-1 win away from Howard Payne.The Comets then blanked Mary Hardin-Baylor 1-0 Saturday to move into second place in the ASC standings. STORY

COMETS RALLY FOR ANOTHER ASC TIE
UTD rallied three times from behind to tie up Hardin-Simmons 3-3, then had to survive overtime again before beating McMurry 2-1. Kevin White tied the game up for the Comets against Hardin-Simmons, then scored both goals in the Saturday win over McMurry, including the game-winner in overtime. STORY

COMETS TIE UP CONFERENCE LEADERS
Facing the prospect of losing their second straight American Southwest Conference match, the UTD men's soccer team got a game-tying goal from Mazi Rabiee with just over a minute left in regulation Thursday and held on for a 2-2 double-overtime tie with conference leader Mississippi College. UTD then whipped Louisiana College, 5-2, Saturday behind two Rabiee assists. STORY

RICHARDSON, TX - The UTD men's soccer team fell for the first time in ASC action after giving up an early 1-0 lead. UTD lost two players to red card ejections and played the majority of the match short-handed. STORY

UTD UPSETS FAVORITES TO OPEN ASC 2-0
RICHARDSON, TX - UTD used a pair of dramatic goals from transfer Mihai Cotet (pictured) to claim a 3-2 overtime win over Concordia Texas in the American Southwest Conference opener for both teams. Cotet, a transfer from Romania, then scored both goals for the Comets in a 2-0 upset of pre-season ASC favorite UT-Tyler. STORY

Comets Split Home Openers
RICHARDSON, TX - The nation's top NCAA Division III team, Trinity University, posted a 5-0 win over the UTD Comets in their home opener Friday night. But UTD responded by pitching a 1-0 shutout over Southwestern Saturday to even its record at 2-2. Kevin White (pictured) scored UTD's only goal. The loss was Southwestern's first of the season. Comets PICK UP FIRST WIN IN COLORADO
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The Comets rebounded from an opening 2-0 loss to Augsburg College on Saturday with an impressive 2-0 shutout of host Colorado College Sunday afternoon for the Comets' first win of the season. Transfer Bruno Alonso (pictured) scored UTD's first goal of the season 27 minutes into the game. The Comets then added another goal in the second half while Jake Brandon pitched a shutout in the net.
