Comets Rally For Fourth Straight Win

UTD Handles Winless Austin College, 3-2

SHERMAN, TX - The UTD men's soccer team rallied from behind three times Tuedsay afternoon, finally shaking off winless Austin College, 3-2, in a non-conference soccer match.

Bruno Alonso (pictured near right) scored the game winner for the Comets off the foot of Mihia Cotet at the 76:20 mark after Justin Bailey had tied the game up for the second time at 63:00 on a header following a cross from Kevin White.

White (pictured above right) rallied the Comets from an early 1-0 deficit with an unassisted goal at the 14:59 mark of the first period. AC regained the lead just before halftime on a 40-yard shot that was just out of the reach of goalkeeper Jake Brandon. Brandon was credited with three saves while the Comets delivered six shots on goal. The Comets outshot AC, 23-16. BOXSCORE
