Comet Freshman ASC Player of Week

UTD Tennis Player Team's Top Player

RICHARDSON, TX - Eric Debusschere, a UTD tennis player from Olympia, Washington and the team's top player, has been named the American Southwest Conference East Division Male Player of the Week.

Debusschere, a freshman, defeated ASC East opponent LeTourneau at No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-0 and came back from 2-7 down to win at No. 2 doubles. Debusschere, who teamed with Donald Kasitinon in doubles, helped the Comets clinch an ASC Championships berth with the victory.
