| Dinwiddie is expected to move to one of the starter spots on the UTD staff after an impressive fall. A lefthander with good stuff, he comes from the powerhouse junior college program at San Jacinto JC (ranked No. 2 nationally in 2007) and played in the JC World Series. Originally played for Platt Community College (KS) after an all-state high school career at Little Rock (AR) Central HS. Also played outfield on a team that advanced to the state playoffs four straight years. An Academic All-American at San Jacinto, he earned a transfer academic scholarship to UTD.
