Henkelman is another older player who attempted a comeback after several years out of school. Graduated from Fort Worth Eastern Hills HS in 1998, and took classes at Texas Wesleyan University and Tarrant County College. Got his feet wet in 2005 with 8 appearances, posting a 4.91 ERA in 11.0 innings of work, and got four appearances and 5.0 innings of work in 2007.
