Elliott came in as a transfer from Brookhaven CC last season and took over the starting spot in centerfield. Hit a solid .274 with 11 extra-base hits, but provided often spectacular defense in the outfield and was 20-for-23 in stolen bases. He was second-team all-district and defensive player of the year at Euless Trinity HS on a team that twice made it to the regional round of the playoffs. Also played basketball and ran track.
