Ford is one of the few original four-year members of the UTD baseball program, which began in 2002. Has made 27 appearances through his first three seasons - mostly in relief. Had his best season as a junior, when he finished with a 3.60 ERA in eight appearances, giving up just six earned runs in 15.0 innings of work. Was a multi-sport star in high school, where he earned second-team all-state honors as quarterback. Also was a first-team all-area pitcher and played basketball. Was also valedictorian of his high school class. MAJOR: Public Administration; AMBITION: City Management/Firefighter.
