| Hellen is a versatile player who has done a little bit of everything for the Comets, and will likely be in that role again in 2006 - serving as a reserve infielder and seeing occasional time on the mound. Started on and off last season at second and third base, and hit a respectable .261 with three doubles and one homerun. Drove in 14 runs. Pitched in 18 games over his first three seasons, making 11 starts. Made just two relief appearances as a pitcher in 2004, but posted a 3.60 ERA in 10 appearances in 2003. Earned academic all-conference honors in 2004 and 2005, and is a Dean's List student in the School of Management Honor Program. Competed on the UTD Cross Country team in the fall. Hellen was a member of a a bi-district championship team in high school. MAJOR: Business Administration; AMBITION: U.S. Treasury. | |||
