| Waggoner became a weapon for the Comets in 2007, earning his way onto the starting staff for the conference series. Made 12 starts with three complete games, compiling a 6-2 record with a 4.22 ERA. Using an effective curveball, he struck out 51 hitters in 70.1 innings of work. Tied a school record by throwing a 1-0 seven-inning one-hitter against Louisiana College on March 17, 2007. After missing the 2005 season with a hand injury, Waggoner made 10 appearances and posted a 5.61 ERA in 2006. Was on a two-time district championship team at Dallas Hillcrest HS, and was co-MVP of his district. Also played golf. MAJOR: Finance. | |||
