Swafford has become a scoring threat off the bench, particularly from beyond the 3-point stripe.Transferred to UTD before the 2003-04 season, and averaged 5.5 points and 1.8 rebounds in 26 games. Production dropped off a bit as a junior, when he averaged 3.1 points and 1.0 rebounds per game. Swafford was on the Class 4A state championship team at Denton Ryan HS in 2000, and signed to play at Oklahoma Baptist University, a team that went to the NAIA Elite 8 in 2001.
