In the last three seasons, Carruthers has emerged as a leader on the UTD squad, and was one of the nation's leaders in NCAA Division III in assists last season with 159 in 26 games. Also connected on 33 three-pointers and hit 56-of-62 free throws (.903) to average a career-best 8.0 points per games. Won the starting point guard position in 2004-05 with his
determination and dished out 80 assists in 28 games, averaging 4.7 points
per game. Made his way into 16 games as a freshman,
scoring 27 points and pulling down 15 rebounds for the season. Set a school
record for assists in a game and season at Georgetown HS, where he was
