Keese played in all 19 games for the Comets in 2005, starting many of them. He scored one goal on just two shots. Keese got playing time in 14 games as a freshman, and had one start; then added 14 games to his resume as a sophomore in 2003. A three-year letterman in high school, Keese was also class president, active in his church youth group and valedictorian of his graduating class. He is attending UTD on the prestigious McDermott Scholarship, and is active in various school organizations.
