Harydzak made just six appearances in the pitching circle as a freshman, all in relief; but could be counted on for a larger role this season. Had five strikeouts and six walks in just 8.2 innings of work in 2007. Had a successful high school career at Pasadena (TX) Memorial HS. Also played volleyball in high school.
