Allen was a member of the talented 2006 UTD freshman class that helped lead the Comets to the American Southwest Conference championship game. Won second-team All-ASC East Division recognition and a Player of the Week award in 2006, after finishing second on the team in kills with 296 and 76 blocks.

Allen was a three-time all-district performer who was team MVP at Converse Judson HS. Allen was also recognized for her academic achievements in high school. MAJOR: Government & Politics; AMBITION: Lawyer.
