Fowler is the lone upperclass veteran from the Comets' original team in 2004, back for her third season. She was a key player and team captain on the inaugural UTD volleyball team, and was recognized as the co-recipient of the American Southwest Conference East Division Newcomer of the Year award. She was also a member of the ASC 2004 all-conference team, recording 230 kills, 356 assists and 71 service aces in 2004. In 2005, she 3.67 assists and 2.24 kills playing the dual role of setter and outside hitter, and again won All-ASC East first-team honors. Fowler was academic all-state and all-district, as well as first-team all-district player in high school on team that reached the state finals in 2002 and the state quarter finals in 2001. She also ran track and cross country in HS. Fowler is a representative to the UTD Student Athlete Advisory Committee. MAJOR: Undeclared. |
