Seaman showed great promise as a freshman, starting most of the season as a freshman and finishing second on the team with 507 digs to go along with 2.06 kills per game. She played on two district championship teams at Mansfield HS, where she was first-team all-district, team captain and MVP her senior year in 2004. She also led her HS district in digs her senior season, when the team advanced to the regional quarterfinals. In 2003, Seaman also won second-team all-district honors on a team that advanced to bi-district in the playoffs. She was also a two-time qualifier at the Junior Olympic Nationals for club volleyball.
