Jones is one of three UTD seniors to play all four years for the Comets. Played 47 games for the Comets in her first two years, averaging 11.7 points per game as a freshman, and 9.9 as a sophomore. Production dropped off a little last season, averaging 6.2 points while playing 22.1 minutes per game. Has consistently averaged around 3.7 rebounds each year, and has a combined 176 assists and 143 steals in her first three seasons. Advanced to the national Miss Black & Gold Pageant in 2004 after winning the campus, state and southwest region titles. Was a second-team all-district player in high school who ranked 10th in steals in the Houston area. MAJOR: Speech Pathology. AMBITION: Speech Pathologist. |
