Metzler saw action in all 26 games the Comets played during her freshman year, averaging about 18.1 minuters per game off the bench. Had 25 steals and 108 points in her first season. Metzler was the valedictorian of her high school class at Era HS, where she was an all-district performer on the basketball court. She also played tennis and ran track/cross country.
