Sarah Arldt, an award-winning softball player for the Comets from 2003-2006, joined the UTD coaching staff as Assistant Softball Coach and Head Women's Cross Country Coach in 2007.

Arldt, who won numerouse conference and regional awards as a player during her four-year career, assisted UTD head softball coach Kim Sotomayor as a graduate assistant last season. A native of Katy, TX and a 2002 graduate of Mayde Creek HS, she earned a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from UTD in 2006.
