Katie Johnson, who set a number of school goalkeeping records for UTD from 2001-2004, is UTD's Assistant Women's Soccer and Tennis Coach. She joined the staff in 2007.

Johnson set a school record by playing in 81 games during her four-year career at UTD. She also holds several UTD school records and was voted all-conference and all-region at goalkeeper three consecutive years. She was the Comets' goalkeeper during UTD's 2002 ASC Championship season. A 2001 graduate of Irving (TX) MacArthur HS, Johnson graduated with a psychology degree from UTD in 2005 and has worked in the business world for the past two years.
