Kurt Kammerer joined Larry Gardner's UTD training staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in the summer of 2006. Kammerer holds a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports sciences, as well as a master's degree in athletic training from Texas Tech University. During his years at Texas Tech, he served internships and assisted trainers at Texas Tech (working with the men's basketball program, Lubbock Christian University, South Plains College and Lubbock Estacado High School. He spent the 2005-06 school year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of North Texas, working with the softball program.
