IRVING, TX - The UTD men's cross country team finished behind only ASC power UT-Tyler at the four-team University of Dallas Invitational. The Comets got a fourth-place indiividual finish from freshman Charles Williams. STORY

ABILENE, TX - The UTD men's cross country team finished ahead of only East Texas Baptist, while the women's team brought up the back of the field at the annual Division III State Meet, run this weekend in Abilene. STORY

DENTON , TX - The UTD cross country team got a full dose of NCAA Division I competition at the annual North Texas Invitational, running against teams from the University of North Texas, Texas Christian University and Baylor University. STORY

Comets Launch '07 Season at UT-Tyler
TYLER , TX - The UTD cross country team showed promise as it opened its 2007 season with a good showing at the UT-Tyler Invitational. UTD freshman Charles Williams paced the Comet men with a 23rd-place finish and a time of 30.32 in the 8K race. Former volleyball player Brittany Fowler, running in her first collegiate meet, posted a 31.34 in the women's 6K race. STORY

ASC's Best Runs Away at ASC Meet
TYLER , TX - The UTD cross country team found out just how good the rest of the American Southwest Conference cross country programs are as the Comets finished back in the pack in both divisions at Saturday's ASC Championship Meet at UT-Tyler. The UTD men finished sixth out of 10 teams with senior Kevin Chen coming up with a 38th place finish in the field of 75 runners. On the women's side, Suzanne Davis placed 27th out of 76 runners, but UTD still finished 8th as a team. STORY
