The University of Texas at Dallas is committed to providing the student-athlete with personal development opportunities that will challenge and enhance the individual’s collegiate experience. The CHAMPS/Life Skills program is designed to provide the student-athlete with leadership and service learning experiences. In addition, programs and seminars address career development, academic success, and personal achievement.
The CHAMPS/Life Skills Program (Challenging Athletes Minds for Personal Success) was founded in 1991 by the NCAA Foundation and the Division 1-A Athletic Directors' Association.
