The UTD Comet Club assists in proving the resources necessary for student-athletes to achieve success in each of their pursuits;
The UT Dallas Comet Club is the cornerstone of UD athletics, raising money to cover athletic costs such as recruiting expenses, team travel, equipment, facilities, facilities enhancement and athletic training. With the escalating costs associated with higher education, the importance of the Comet Club to the improvement and development of UTD athletics cannot be overstated. The UT Dallas Athletic Department receives NO STATE FUNDING for its programs, so we rely heavily on individuals and corporate sponsors to help offset the rising costs of offering a quality program.
Donors to the Comet Club champion this cause, recognizing the value of the student-athlete experience through their support of our students both on and off the playing fields.
The Comet Club is the sole athletic fundraising organization of The University of Texas at Dallas, organizing to assists the Department of Athletics with funding to benefit more than 200 student-athletes competing for the Comets. Through a cooperative effort, we build community support to create opportunities for successful sports programs on a national level. The support provided by the Comet Club allows student-athletes to demonstrate excellence in athletics and academics, while enhancing the spirit, visibility and the reputation of The University of Texas at Dallas.
The goal of the Comet Club is to provide unrestricted funding to support the operation of the 13 NCAA sport programs sponsored by the instuiitution. UTD relies on the support of individuals and businesses within our community to provide a first-rate student-athlete experience. In turn, the success of UTD athletics offers a sense of pride to the campus community and serves as a rallying point for our students, faculty/staff and fans, and provides the institution with regional and national exposure to help attract the best possible student-athletes to UT Dallas.

While donations of all sizes are appreciated, you can become part of the UT Dallas Comet Club with a donation of as little as $100. Donors to the Comet Club receive several benefits throughout the year, including monthly newsletters, periodic social events and gatherings.
